Silicone tubing for your application
Select inside diameter, wall thickness and material together.
Silicone tubing can provide flexible fluid connections, link machine components or act as a roller sleeve. The right product depends on its function as well as its diameter.
Standard silicone tubing offers a choice of colors, hardness and cross-sections. Platinum-cured medical tubing forms a separate group, with a transparent appearance and its own size list.
This catalog covers product types, three applications, dimensioned cross-sections and minimum production quantities. The complete current size range is listed online.
03 / Dimensions and cross-section
How to read a tubing size
Inside diameter × outside diameter. These define the wall thickness.
Inside diameter d is the bore of the tubing, the starting point for connection and flow-area selection.
Outside diameter D is the distance across the outer surfaces. It defines the space required and overall cross-section.
Wall thickness t is the silicone wall on one side: t = (D - d) / 2.
For fluid transfer
Assess connection diameter, required flow rate, pressure or vacuum, and bend layout together.
For roller sleeves
Specify roller diameter, fitted length, wall thickness and operating conditions. Fit is determined by the application.
Cross-sections are proportional technical illustrations; printed and on-screen views are not at actual physical size.

08 / Filling and fluid transfer
Filling and fluid transfer lines
Flexible connections from tank to filling point.
Where is tubing used?
It provides a flexible fluid connection between tanks, manifolds and filling equipment. Tubing can be routed between fixed pipe connections to suit the layout.
Benefits in the application
A flexible line adapts to the connection layout. Clear options help visually monitor flow. Inside diameter and wall thickness are selected alongside flow and mechanical conditions.
FILLING / TRANSFER - Assess connection size, fluid and cleaning procedures together.
09 / Filling line selection
Selecting tubing for filling lines
Assess the whole line, from connections to cleaning.
01 / Connections and flow
Specify inlet and outlet diameters, required flow rate and line length. A narrow connection may restrict the selected tubing's flow area.
02 / Line conditions
Specify operating temperature, line pressure or vacuum requirements. Assess wall thickness and material against these conditions.
03 / Routing
Describe a layout that avoids sharp bends and crushing. Check tubing length, bending space and nearby equipment together.
